The pain was like exactly contained by the middle of my lower stomach area.but it was so severe that I felt it adjectives over and my stomach was tender to touch.

Secondly, it could be an ovarian cyst or your appendix. Sometimes, a person can have something call "referred pain" which means that pain will be experience somewhere other than where on earth it may come from. If I were you, I would call my GYN first thing within the morning and arrange for an appointment asap. Also, if you experience the same pains again today, you may want to go to your nearest ER.

Well the choices for what could be wrong are numerous if sexually active later ectopic pregnancy, STD, Pelvic inflammatory disease, etc.
Ovarian cyst would be another possibility. Then we have kidney stones, gallbladder disease, appendicitis, or kidney infection. or it could just have be gas or ovulation pain.
