The doctor treated me as an attention huntsman and he even said the consulting nurse and doctor had of late told me to go to the hospital only to protect themselves…he also threatened me I would be kicked out of school if I kept it up. He told my roomies roughly speaking the meds I was (what they be for) on plus what had happen in the ER (when they ultimate saw me I was newly hyper) he sais I was have the meltdown and that I shouldn’t blame it on the meds… He called my mom, denied everything, he tried to read out I gave him assent to tell my roomies (Only 4 general public who know me know I take meds for depression, even my siblings don't know) I told him specifically not to enlighten them. He said I must have mistook things…But she have herd cut of it and called him on that.
The personality I talked to said he have gotten alot of complaints about that doc. playing physiatrist.
It be already a scary experience, and he made it even worse!

Believe it or not doctors really really want to brand people better. Sometimes, that isn't possible -- surrounded by those cases the doctor is aften as frustrated as the patient.
They have papers at the hospital to report things resembling this that you do not like. Although I doubt anything will truly happen to their own doctor. It would at smallest make you get the impression better doing it. Not sure who to contact at the hospital for them though.

Yes you do have privacy rights. I would be sure I took down that doctors pet name. Document the incident so you remember it exactly, try to remember if there be any witnesses such as nurses or other health-care personal get in that names.File a complaint against that doctor beside the hospital board if you can. I would not give up on this someone requirements to stop him from this violation.i would record a complaint with your states medical board....they tend to pilfer these thing pretty seriously and if that doctor keep violating ancestors privacy they will take away his license and to me it sounds similar to they should.
How bad/what kind of antipathy were you have and how long did you wait until that time going in? That may have have something to do with his troubles... It may hold been easier/cheaper to consult the doctor you get the prescription from.

you should put in a complaint at the helth departmentif this doctor have been doing this to other pts than he is a serious risk and wants his license taken away asap

As a patient, you DO enjoy rights. You have the right to be treated in recent times like everyone else. You DO hold the right to privacy. There are laws that protect patients privacy. This is prearranged as HIPPA. The doctor CAN NOT release ANY information to anyone without your WRITTEN consent.There are stiff penalty and fines for any breach in the law. I would be liable to call and discuss the situation near hospital administration. Another choice might be to contact the hospitals RISK MANAGEMENT Department. What that particular doctor did be just plain wrong.
actually it doesn't situation if you gave him voiced permission(like he states) to tell your roomies or not, that is to say illegal. at hand is a sheet that you have to chronicle the people that you want your medical information released to. if they are not on the schedule, they cannot tell them. I would contact the principal of the ER department and tell them what happen.
