She was within Cancun a few months ago & while in the the deep she felt something narrowly touch her shin, after she got out of the river she noticed a completely tiny bloody spot.
Now she has be having horrible bone affliction in her shin bone & no test show anything. Could there be an infection in her bone ?

There are creatures in the river that do sting! There are obviously creatures within the water which do enjoy stings and others which might cause an irritation simply by touching your skin with their skin. Tell her she should jump to the doctor if she has not done so however.
