Any warning on how to keep awake/not obligation so much sleep? Please?


Hi gang. I have huge difficulty contained by waking up surrounded by the morning - can sleep through five alarms even when I know I must get up for an appointment; and consequently during the day I can sit down and the subsequent thing I know it's several hours next and I've slept through them. I live alone, so nobody to prod me; slight tendency to depression; apparently my thyroid functions are OK; I'm 60 years mature, and I've been specified to take 14 hours sleep out of the 24 and be aware of no better for it. Any help at adjectives would really, really be appreciated because this is affecting my work, my enjoyment of life span, and just almost everything else.

Serious helpful answers would be hugely appreciated. Many gratitude in mortgage.

Like you, I can sleep a day away next to no qualms, lol. We are lucky since many individuals can't, however, this can interfere with a majority life if gone unchecked. For me, this is helped by self discipline. I must set up a regular programme, and not veer sour of it. For instance, go to bed and catch up at a set time without fall short. I try not to even lay down untill it is time to sleep, lest I be tempted. A friend of mine won't even sit on his bed untill he go to bed, for the same pretext. This also helps subconciously train your body that the bed is merely for sleeping. Keeping the regular schedule help in the long run, because your body will be used to it, and will truly get accurate rest when you lay down for bed. If you sleep as you get the quirk, your body will be lethargic more habitually, and stays lethargic for longer after wake.

So, no matter how firm it is you must train yourself to adopt a normal sleep model. It is a pattern you can set. Good luck to you!

I would love to sleep that long.The longest I can lay within bed is 6hrs.maybe you are not getting restful sleep and thats why you get the impression like you entail more.

i would have a sleep study. conceivably you have sleep apnea. maybe a c-pap and some provigil would make a big difference surrounded by your life.

Advice on getting out of bed in the morning: I use four alarm clocks, adjectives very loud and surrounded by different rooms. Plus alarm on cell phone and house phone rings same time every day surrounded by morning. Only slept in 3 times in 6 months.

Go to a sleep clinic. You may have sleep apneia and since you live alone you wouldn't know if you enjoy problems in your sleep. I do agree beside maintaining a calendar. If the alarm isn't waking you hang on to trying different ones or one that plays cds and put something obnoxious in to wake up to. If you enjoy depression issues you may need medication for it. I do know when I sleep following than usual I always discern hung over and more tired, so I try to get up at like peas in a pod time always

Please avoid drinks and immense spicy food if you take at dinner. Drink a chalice of water past you go to bed.
Add salads to your dinner especially starting near a small quantity and increase it as much you can digest it glibly. This will clear your constipation and give you form.
You try to be on fruits and cocoanut water during daylight time especially for breakfast and afternnon eating. Buttermilk will also do suitable at day times but avoid it surrounded by night.
You can enjoy proteinous lunch.

This sounds resembling depression. I too suffer from Depression and when my meds are off I tend to sleep profoundly. Go see your doctor or better then that a psychiatrist who can prescribe you something that will backing. When I finally got the abet I need my enthusiasm changed. There is hope!
