Buy from boots/holland and barrat or any other chemist a herbal sleeping tablet like 'Kalms' or any other herbal one as you will not find addicted to them like those prescribed by a GP...

I have found that the tremendously best way to sleep within the day is to grasp some melatonin tablets they sell them on ebay.Melatonin is a innate sleep hormone which is produced when it gets cloudy. They are not addictive.
I was told by a hypnotherapist to count back-wards , whenever i want to spatter asleep i start counting from about 30 backwards as efficient as i can, got relatively good at it and usually works. I also try to clear my mind of all thoughts and afterwards i think of a falls cascading down huge boulders, rocks and i visualise simply beauty. Eat something buoyant before bed. Like oatmeal. (works great)
Bedroom MUST BE COMPLETELY DARK.
Go to bed same time respectively morning/wake w/alarm. Tell everyone "No one is to call" Turn off the phone, if no family/friends listen! Remember we own 911, for emergency if you are needed.
Find something that make white rumpus. Fan. Find something to create a click sound. Possibly soft music.

Invest surrounded by a water bed. You can be assured you will hold no problem in sleeping. Try getting one on a trial interval, for say a month. Test it out. I am sure you will never want to transport it back. They are warmth controlled. So warm contained by winter and cool in summer. It works for me.
