What is it really like to spend time contained by a sleep disorder clinic?

My mother had Parkinson's Disease and be unable to hang on to very still and her MRI turned out fine. I don't reckon the tremoring and shakiness is a big thing. I assume they just don't want you to in fact turn or move your limbs to another position. Your client may hold to stay in a touch longer because they may have to dally until the shakiness stops to get a flawless picture.

Many doctors prescribe a tranquilizer to help the merciful keep still or to avoid hysterics. She may want to call her doctor and go and get a prescription before her appointment.

The patient will be on table horizontally. Sometimes, tech can put wedge to keep the patients steady. I suggest your patient to ask the tech when she shows up.

MRI is a long, loud process. and you do own to hold still frequently and for extended periods. Depending on what is human being scanned, breathing may or may not be an issue.

If you are claustrophobic, you can usually carry a anti-anxiety med from your doctor or consider and "open MRI" that doesn't be aware of so much like a small underground cave.
