If you spatter on your back angrily, why is it difficult to start breathing again?
Answers:
Here's the why, as I understand it:
When you trickle violently, your ribs trickle on your lungs and your intercostal muscles (that move your ribs) either don't enjoy time to react or can't take action enough to maintain said ribs from crushing said lungs like a brick on a balloon.
Obviously, and luckily for you, it isn't typically a undying problem. Lungs have no muscles, they are basically sacs of nouns that are squeezed closed by your intercostals, abs and diaphragm. When allowed to, they expand... unless they've just be crushed.
It's sort of like how if you put a starchy object on a piece of foam and later remove it, the foam takes somewhat time bouncing back (if it ever does). Fortunately your lungs are pretty tough.
Hope I answered your grill.
