I was just this minute diagnosed with a kidney stone. It is roughly speaking 1.5 CM I've been have some pain and I really don't want to hold morphine or percesets (not sure is I spelled it right) The closest date they can break it apart (shock wave) is mid february. Untill then, what is the best OTC backache killer I can appropriate? Also if anyone had this procedure done, could you please make a contribution me some info?

Is it unhealthy?

if you are hurting as bleak as I think you are, consequently you should think in the order of taking the medication the doctor gave you. Severe dull pain damages the body and mind and can cause you undue stress.

If you are worried more or less addiction, know this if you take opioid/opiate cramp medication for pain and as Rx'd the likelihood of becoming addcited are very low.
