You want to change your customs. You can't just drop a habit- it must be replaced. First, achieve rid of the booze. Right now, you *may* be within the early stages of alcoholism- excessive drinking, making excuses, etc. Do you become effortlessly overwhelmed? Do you feel that natural life is just more enjoyable/easier to settlement with while you're surrounded by a euphoric state?
Then, Make a list of hobbies and actions you would like to do. Exercising is a great shift because as you work out, your body releases endorphins into your bloodstream, and that give you a natural high-ranking. Volunteering is also good, especially when you're working directly next to those less fortunate. It may give support to change your perspective on life and facilitate motivate you. You can also get into sports, fine arts, tutoring, etc. Anything that you suppose you'd be good at or even try something trial.
When you start to feel the urge to drink, jump to your list. See if you can fashion it through one night. Then the subsequent night, etc. (Also, put together sure you're drinking water while you're doing it.) Take it sooner or later at a time.
You need to find out *why* you're drinking. Use your accomplishments to keep your mind rotten drinking. You could be depressed. If you are, see your doctor and see what would be the best method to help you. (Been near and beat that.) You're not other prescribed anti-depressants. Talking helps. You should try dialogue with the counselors at the university clinic. AA meetings are willing to help, and you can attend them on-line.

Be careful....I started that agency too. It gets out of paw before you know it. Now I can never drink again...not even a cup of wine. Unless you want that, slow down.
