Did they pack it? or did they lance it b4 it absessed? If they lance it b4 it absessed there might be more microbes still brewing in there. When they are lanced the cuts aren't wide. So I doubt the lancing made it bleed this long. The boil itself probably cause the leasion that is bleeding. It should restore to health pretty soon. If it don't then you stipulation to make sure you didn't pick up an infection.
