Sounds close to you have an ear infection and possibly arthritis of the upper jowl.
Hmm I think they are coupled through the nerves. When I had numbing injections in my mouth to own teeth removed, my ear on the side the injection was, go numb too. Odd.
I think that when your infection clears up, your chin will feel conventional again. :)

Take a hot shower and direct the water into your ear to flush it out. Would work better if you own a shower head that pulses and shoots a unyielding stead stream. I'm not a doctor. This is my disclaimer.there is a canal that connects the inner ear, nasal path and the back of the throat and disease that affect one repeatedly hace effect on the others.
Possibly due to enlarged lymph nodes in from of the ear (pre auricular nodes) This is a normal sensitivity to infecton. The Doctor should be able to confirm this.

Take Ibuprofen or Tylenol Arthritis to ease the backache until you get some antibiotics and other meds. That will lessen the pressure. Also bake packs on it will serve. If you don't have a warmth pack, then you can put a hot dust cloth in a seal-able purse and place that on your ear/jaw.what can be the result of having a collarbone dislocation step for longer than 4 months?
wait until you see the Doctor tomorrow. Until then use niggle killers and a hot flannel (or tea towel) which you own put in a bowl of hot dampen....ring it out so it isn't wet but hot...and kindly press it against your sore jaw....hold on to doing this until you get nouns.at night you can insert the cloth into a plastic hermetic bag close to a sandwich bag so it wont showery your pillow and lay gently on it. Works great for toothache. The principle is probably because the infection is spreading or affecting the nerves near the farthest point of your jaw. There are tiny tubes central from the ear to the throat called eustachea tubes....any blockage here will incentive pain. The inflammation in your ear due to your infection is putting pressure on nerves which is causing the backache in your jowl. Different parts of the ear (or a should say different depths really) will exact different kinds of backache (inner ear infections are different from outer ear infections). I think it's the outer ear infection that can make happen pain down from the ear to the jowl...Try alternating with rime and heat on that side of your frontage (but avoid putting pressure on your ear if it's tender). Warm oil make some people consistency better, if you heat up a few drops of vegatable grease and put it in your ear it can be soothing, but I wouldn't try it unless you are in like mad of pain.

Don't get it showery - my husband suffers from ear infections alot and has be told by doctors NOT to get it drizzling, so the answer that suggests you use the shower could actually do more mar than good. You can lessen wax using warm marine - but that's not the same as treating an infection.Your eustic tubes (from throat to ears) are blocked and to be exact causing some backache. So when the iinfection is treated and clears the pain will walk. the doctor will prescribe either anti-biotics or a spray for the ear.

Its in recent times like if your tooth get infected your whole facade or half of it can catch swollen and it can feel approaching your ear hurts or your throat.See your doctor, you really need some prescription.

Not a scaremonger here, but this is how my problems started out.The infection spread down into my upper teeth and front to an ulcerated absecss behind an impacted suitability tooth, I was on antibiotics for ages to kill in cold blood the infection so I could have the tooth out.
The swelling never go down....So I had my tonsils out too ( 2 yrs later), to remedy the ongoing infection and swelling, after, when the swelling STILL persisted..... They jab a needle into it for a biopsy, MRI scan me and I have within fact get a tumor in my d¨Ścolletage, which originaly caused the swelling, and the ear infection....and so on it go. Get it checked properly and keep a VERY close eye on any swelling, capture it looked at by your doctor untill it's all gone.
Be pernickety with your oral hygene too at adjectives times.
