I am due to go into hospital on the 12th of this month to enjoy my lower two discs removed from my spine and have bone graft from my leg to form two new discs. I am told that the operation will finishing for about five hours. Has anyone have this operation done? and what was the outcome, be you free from pain. Also what be the recovery time.

Been there. My surgery be a sucess, but I had to do rehab for a year to win back to full speed. Recovery will depend on how well brought-up of shape you are in prior to surgery, if in attendance are complications during surgery or after, and how much work you put into your rehab. One day one out of surgery, rehab will force you to sit up and even stand so you don't gain pneumonia. That was horrible for me and I cried, but I have a morphine pump to help. You'll probably enjoy pockets where they harvest bone in your leg that will hurt alot too.

Long-term nouns will depend on your rehab work, but also on if those discs were cause all your aching.Sometimes people enjoy plain old courage pain call neuropathy caused by things bar structural problems.
