Should an employer payment you for your time off while visit your doctor for a work related injury?
I was injured on the post. I work for a small company and the owner is a nutjob. She would just soon fire somebody who file's workers comp. I injured my d¨Ścolletage really bad, however I work every year. I do however take stale maybe once every two weeks to pop in a doctor. I have other been a salaried hand. She just changed me to hourly and will be docking my money while visiting the doctor. I am so irritated... I hurt so fruitless every day when I sign out. I'm not too sure what to do. The people I work for are not comfortable with the law and employee's rights. Can they lower my pay while on worker's comp? Can they reduce by for my doctor's visits? Help!!!

See an attorney directly. There are time limitations on filing claims. If you hold a permanent impairment, you are entitled to a settlement. Even as the luggage is progressing, you are entitled to medical care and conditional disability payments if the dr takes you sour work. Please see an attorney and at least find out what the statutory ends are in your state and what compensation you are entitled to. Your employer sound similar to very unpleasant folks.

if you were injured on the career, guess what? She HAS to pay for your medical expenses! What she is doing is against the decree. Yes. They have to earnings. Check with your personnel/HR to review the rules and regulations on the subject of work-related accidents. Even better, if your department have a Risk Management office, move about there instead. They own all your answers. There may or may not be a process to step thru.
