Obviously the gym guru is qualified to diagnose you with a medical problem when you don't even own symptoms. What medical school did he turn to?
My apologies. However, your gym teacher should not be describing you that you have a problem that may not exist. Most imagined it is that your heel cords are tight, but it is impossible to know without a physical nouns. If you think you hold a problem (usually a common symptom is pain) you should net an appointment with an orthopedist or physical shrink who can properly diagnose you.
In the meantime, try stretching your calves, hamstrings, hip flexors, and hip rotators. Any of these muscle groups could be limiting your propensity to perform a run of the mill squat.
Post lumbar fusion - questions?
I would influence its more likely to be that your tendons at the rear legs of the heel (Achilles tendon) is a little too short, or your leg muscle mortal well developed stops its relaxing as much as it should do;
