Yes there are MUCH stronger spasm killers/relief -depending on how disabling your discs are making you , your gp will /should prescribe what he/she "feels" is best -if you find this isn,t working tell your gp .."diclofenac" isn,t a niggle killer as such ,but an anti inflmatory -the "best" form of discomfort relief for lower spinal column is usually a codeine base ,i.e. dihydrocedeine,codeine phosphate ..etc ..15 years is a immensely long time to be in such niggle;( ..there are "forms" of morphine -Sevredol is morphine sulphate tablets ,different strengths which do lend a hand but not prescibed for regular use -there is a morphine base patch available -Buprenorphine which gp,s are finining is excellent for chronic fund pain and much better than "popping pills" -best method is to try diferent ones to find what,s best for you. Also try heat therapy and light excercise ,swimming can help out -there are also great osteopaths which gp,s can recommend who work on the nerves ,etc -give great relief but not available on the nhs :( ..but do not bring this confused with chiropract...arrghh avoid them completely as they can fashion you much worse ...have set folk , similar to youreslf who have go to one to try and relieve their pain simply to end up more serious ..i,m sure not adjectives of them are but i certainly would hold away from them ...ask your gp to try different meds/pain killers to find what works for you ...hope this help ..;)

I would suggest that you add some exercise, press, chiropractic etc. to your pain control. Not only will it support alleviate the pain but also regain some of your physical strength and flexibility.
For chronic dull pain, hypnosis or self hypnosis has also be very powerful.

Morphine is the strongest of the 3 you mentioned. Diclofenac is not exceedingly strong. Vicodin and Percocet are possibilities. You really should consult a physician for a prescription and to make sure anything you take is going to be sheltered for you. Everyone is different and even if you have access to someone else's meds, please consult a doc in the past taking anything. for treating misery. Eliminates drug use completely. Not everyone reponds well, but worth a try & no side effects. You can buy a mechanism. but you may be able to carry one via your GP first to see if it works for you.

I was surrounded by the cycle from my gp of codein. diclofenac and a few others switching back and forth every month or two between pills that did not hold any affect on the pain i be in.
morphine is the strongest dull pain killer on the bazaar but it is highly addictive so can singular be prescribed for a very short time frame.
within my case the individual thing that worked be an epidural while i was within hospital, with that within i was dull pain free. but now i'm within constant agony and just getting by afternoon by day is greatly difficult.
all i can influence is if you can try and fight through the headache, the pills ultimately (in my case) left me emotion constantly in a daze not knowing what year of the week it was. I stopped taking my medication over 12 months ago and single now am i starting to try and put my time back surrounded by order by war through my pain.
it is not confident.
i feel for you m8, my first op be in 94 and i own been within almost constant pain from that time to today and for the forseable adjectives..
good luck. remember if you want your brain to function at anywhere to hand alert stay off the pills. you are disappeared in like mad of pain next to out pills but better that than in a constant daze or drug enduced coma.

Its not really the strengh of general anaesthetic but how it helps your condition that really matter !, ive got severe Rheumatoid arthritis and have the full range of painkillers and most of the really strong ones of late made me really sleepy and gave me constipation and gone me feeling sick beside bad headache and all kind of horrible stuff like that !.Talk to your specialist and make clear to them your not satisfied near your treatment.

hey gary-There are a few medications that are stronger. Fentanyl, Dilaudid and Oxycontin are the simply ones I know of that are stronger. I won't preach to you about whether or not you should be taking them cuz that's not what you asked, right?
