TMJ stands for the temporo-Mandibular Joint (TMJ), the joint where on earth the mandible (the lower jaw) joins the temporal bone of the skull, without beating about the bush in front of the ear on respectively side of your head. If it is caught hasty, it will probably respond to resting the muscles and joints by consumption soft foods, not chewing gum, avoiding clenching or tensing, and relaxing muscles with moist bake (1/2 hour at least twice daily). Relaxation technique and stress reduction, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, muscle relaxants or other medication may be indicated in a dose your doctor recommends. Other therapy may include fabrication of an occlusal splint to prevent wear and slit on the joint. Improving the alignment of the upper and lower teeth and surgical option are available for advanced cases. After diagnosis, your doctor may suggest further consultation with your dentist and oral surgeon to facilitate powerful management of TMJ dysfunction. You can read more around it here

You need to see a TMJ specialist. Either that or an orthodontist; braces can usually helpTMJ problems seriously.
