Ok. First, insomnia is really common. Almost everyone will suffer it at some time within their lives.
I'd really recommend you talking to your GP: at hand are so many, lots causes of insomnia. Don't nouns and think the doctor will of late palm you off near drugs! Three weeks is the point where a doctor would start to consider this as 'chronic insomnia' a bit than a brief episode. Doctors are very reluctant to prescribe drugs for chronic insomnia, because they don't treat any underlying problem.

Hold on who ever said you can't go to work because you didnt sleep much? Course you can, I don`t know if you do youll be more tired and sleep better.It sounds like u should see a dcotor and discuss medicinal option...that is really a problem
Could be you not alive enough during the daylight. Try gym couple times a week or swimming. Dont eat after 7pm and no tea or coffee beside caffiene. You could try counting sheep?

I hold alot of meds (in order to live!) that save me awake. It was cause havoc with my blood pressure, so I presently take a sleeping pill and a muscle relaxer through my doc.
My dad have a sleep study a couple of years ago and now my 10 year hoary son needs one too. Insomnia and sleep apnea appear to run in the relations.

try approaching listening to some soft music, something soothing. Just dont procure worked up before bed, stay relaxed.
They say you should stick to a routine. I.E walk to bed @ 10pm & get up at 7am. If you are still awake an hour after going to bed, grasp up & do somthing like read a book for partially an hour then travel back to bed. Do not enjoy a lie surrounded by even if you are tired, it just get your body clock confused. After a little while of this your body is supposed to grasp back into a well-mannered sleep pattern. Don't cat siesta on days off etc. Hope this help

2 benadryl at bedtime works for me. Allergy medicines create drowsiness. Doctors will tell you to try benadryl until that time resorting to sleeping pills.What's could be the cause of this chest discomfort?

I used to get insomnia, and what I do is hold a routine. I don't have to jump to bed at a specific time or anything restrictive like that but my own routine is to transport my Pill, put Carmex on my lips and brand name sure I have a cup of water by the bed. When I go on a long distance flight last year, I did adjectives this and still managed to sleep, I suppose because I've associated doing these things beside sleep, and as long as I do them now I never ever enjoy a problem. Obviously you can do your own things.If you're going to give this a budge, and I know I'd try anything, you'll need to make available it a few nights earlier you get into your routine- you said you want something immediate but in my experience it is solely drugs or herbal stuff that will work quickly. You have need of to reset your clock, which can't be rushed. if u front an alreadily healthy lifestyle it could be depression or a mental disorder that will stipulation treating medically. although you may not want to persue this line of feat, you may be able to retrieve yourself a whole nouns of bother later when u become seriosly depressed.
