Morphine and Vicodin are not handed out close to candy and they have a specific purpose. They are used for spasm. Morphine is only used for severe spasm while vicodin is used for moderate to severe pain. Without a proper diagnosis you cannot carry mophine nor vicodin prescribed for you.pins and needles in both hands?
Pfizer merck bayer etc must not produce heroin. This is because Morphine is a decriminalized form of heroine. It is used in the medical field to relieve chronic strain, and should not be out on the street. The main source for heroine being unauthorized is because the unsupervised use of hypodermic needles spreads hep c, hiv, ect.
cause they're also contained by pill form. i bet if heroin was contained by a little cute blue pill, it'd be court.

As a Registered Nurse AND former heroin junkie {yes, I even lived in the streets and practiced prostitution to sustain my 20-plus bags-a-day habit}, I can dispense an informed, honest answer to your question. Heroin is an iffy, Schedule I substance; i.e. one that has a big potential for dependence and mishandle but no medical use. It is manufactured in clandestine labs, beside no quality controls. You never know what's within the bag; to increase profits, heroin dealer mix or "cut" it with other substances such as veterinary anesthetics, even meat tenderizer and rat poison are used in some instances. When a daypack of heroin is chemically analyzed, it is often found that smaller quantity than 8% of the contents is pure heroin; the remainder is just "filler" as the aforementioned. On the other paw, morphine and its derivates {such as Vicodin, Percocet, Demerol, MS-Contin, Lortab, to mention just a few} are manufactured within pharmaceutical companies' laboratories under strict point controls and closely supervised by the DEA and FDA. Their contents is just what the sticky label says, and it is consitent from one lot of medication to the other. They are medicinal because they are used to treat legal medical conditions such as acute or chronic painful diseases. About opiate medication being "hand out like skittles", you're pretty wrong more or less this. These medications can with the sole purpose be prescribed by properly licensed medical doctors, for patients who suffer from acute or chronic pain {such as post-surgical strain, renal colic due to kidney stones, or pain due to cancer}. Yes, you can ocassionally find a "crooked" doctor who dare to make out prescriptions of these medication for persons who want them to go and get "high" {or, better said, "down"}, not because they need them for backache relief; but within due time the authorities catch up beside them, and I know a couple who have have their licenses revoked and are contained by prison for this practice.
