It depends on your pain threshold. Some culture flinch at a kitten's bite, some don't.I would say 6/7, when the needls in reality goes within, that lasts a split second, once the precious stone is position the sharp pain go, but then your lip (or anything else) swells and for a week or two it hurts 5/6, like a sore lip, close to when the skin comes off contained by winter, or you knocked your lip insubstantially. You have to rinse your mouth next to antiseptic regularly and speaking is tricky, let alone drinking. After two weeks is like the metal is subdivision of your lip, no pain at al, unless it get pulled by accident, or you bite on it while eating- that take a while to get used to. Some chipped/broke their teeth while adjust at the metal bit and learned to hang on to it outta way while chewing.
If you don't want to touch pain, I don't contemplate a piercing is a good perception.

I suppose licensed or experienced piercers know the best place to put the holes, where on earth it doesn't hurt AS MUCH.But you do realize there deeply of nerves in the maw? plus a larger area of the sensory areas of the brain. They are the most impressionable of all the areas on the obverse.
