If they be discussing it with you and others overheard it, it is not against the regulation. You could have told them that you would prefer to agree to them in private.

YES it is! It is also against adjectives courtesy. They should always ask other patients to skulk a reasonable distance away from the conversation almost your financial situation, your health, treatment, and other confidential information. You should request that they do so if you see that there are others around you who are overhearing your conversation near them--assuming that you were near and not that it was a mobile call, etc. that be overheard.Of course it is...but prove they did it! Sorry as wrong as it is...no case.
If the other patients overheard it, or it occured at the reception desk, as most of those things do, it's not technically something you can sue or report them for. In any grip, to prevent any embarrassment you should be your own counsel and ask for privacy yourself.
