I am a pharmacist and I receive this question adjectives the time. Motrin (aka Advil,or ibuprofen) is in the same drug class as Aleve (aka Naproxen Sodium). They are set as NSAIDs. You should not take both but pick one or the other. It is relations specific if one works better than the other. Motrin is 200 to 400 mg daily and Aleve is 225 to 550 mg every 6 to 8 hrs. Aleve works better for me instinctively. Pick one or the other...not both.

I would suggest you can take 2 Motrin next to aleve. Make sure you only embezzle it every 4 to 6 hours.i wouldnt try it
