Ok, I was bitten by a horse at work today ( I work on a fish farm with rescue horses), and I'm wondering if I should be concerned more or less the bite or not... I've been bitten or nip at several times in olden times year (comes with the job); but this time it's right on my chest, roughly speaking an inch above to the right of my sternum. I know it's going to be more painul because it's bony there, but it be so painful when he did it that I get lightheaded and had to sit for a bit. It's hurt a moment or two to breathe ever since. I'm guessing that it's going to hurt like that for awhile only because of the bruise being where on earth it is. Is there any coincidence it could have bruised or hurt an organ or anything? I didn't numeral so, and I feel gentle of silly going to the doctor for this "little" bite~ well, at smallest the bruise is little on the outside. Has anyone seen any injuries from this brand of horse bite? By the way, please don't narrate me to sue~ I just want to know whether to bring it checked or simply to ice it..

It sounds approaching you have bruised the sternum itself, I have my sternum and two ribs bruised by a hug and it can be very serious. Inflammation is the biggest issue, you will want to rime the area to maintain swelling down. If you are having difficulty breathing it is plausible inflamation pressing against your lung, if it's really bad walk see doc,otherwise rest,ice the nouns, and wait it out. There really isn't much you can do. Good luck.
