Answer:
Gentle excersise can help.
Circling your foot one way and later the other.
Pointing and flexing your toes.
Walk as able' but don't over do it - (now would not be a good time to try out for that 10k run for charity you've other thought of!!)
the other suggestions about painkillers(paracetamol &Ibrufen sounded resembling good advice)
Elevate your foot while sitting (on your computer reading YouQA!)and while watching TV etc
Your foot will make well in time.
Get powerfully soon!
You could try soaking your foot/ankle in some epson salt next to warm sea. It does have recuperative properties.
It's probably soft tissue damage and that's what's cause the swelling.
Rest the foot, soak it in warm sea and call me contained by the morning if it's no better
If I broke my ankle, why doesn't it hurt?
soft tissue damage channel anything from muscle pulling/tearing or ligament or cartilage strain/tearing. any of the "soft tissue" in that area could of be pulled or strained.i hope this helps. usually soft tissue injuries - if rested lots - can restore to health up in 4-12 weeks depending on the extent of the injury. sometimes a standard lamp sports support or tubi-grip support sock will help to hold the nouns a little and aid health-giving.
anti inflammatory tablets and paracetamol usually help next to any pain or swelling as required. see your doctor for this.
does r/o imply you have the condition or mere suspicion?
Not much to do except tolerate it heal.Rest, elevation, cold compress and anti inflammatories.
How long are you going to live?
Soft tissue weaken takes on adverage 6 weeks to settle down. This can be shorter or longer depending on the extent of the injury. Follow the PRICE warning (Painkillers, Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation). Ask to see a physio if does not settle or if you need further assistance. Don't be afraid of asking your GP again.Im supposed to be going out tonight but ive just have a major nosebleed can i own alcohol?
COUNselling for a torn ligament?!!!! I know it's sore but counselling? Was it for the way you get the injury? Was going to say subsequent we'll be counselling kids for their boo-boos but I guess we do anyway. An ankle strapping with glue tape might supply you some support and relief, otherwise hold on to your leg elevated when you can (above heart level) and avoid standing or dangling legs for long periods. It will treat!
