i had carpal tunnel contained by both of my hands for years. i get so bad i could not drive, sleep, or do my on a daily basis living. what happens is you loose blood circulation within your hands. your hand and up to your forearms feel close to they have fall asleep. they are numb so you can't drive because you loose all attitude. it's not a fun thing, and i get the release a few years back and be immediately better. you could try using a brace but it really did not facilitate me because mine was of late to far gone. good luck.

OK, today is day 2 near just 10mg twice a daytime of oxycontin,?

Your thumb and first 3 fingers 'fall asleep'. There is throbbing in your wrist, and your wrist/arm nouns is swelled.

If you are spending a long time using your laptop, take a break every 20 mins by simply rotating your hands at the wrists, or shaking them.

Cant sleep , why? driving me nuts?

The carpal bones are what cause your wrist movable..if they get inconsistent at all, they will motivation a bit of swelling in the capsule around the bone.. this may be enough to cause some pressure on the audacity that goes to the hand.. The advice given contained by another post is accurate but do find the tender bone and apply pressure when moving your wrist around.. It may allow the carpal bone to return to its normal position and thereby reducing any symptoms which may arise.
