My 2yr old Bullmastiff have a swollen, very bloody toe...what else could it be?
We took him to the vet, x-rays were done and because he be in so much backache he had 2b sedated within order 2b examined. After anyone examined it was confirmed that nearby were no laceration or physical signs for a possible infection, as well as the x-rays eliminate the possibility of a fracture of any kind. The solely thing that be found was a bone spur close at hand the joing for the foot and toe but this was suddenly dismissed because this reaction be not caused but a spur. We be told ther could possibly b some arthritic material but our toddler is only 2, it is fairly early for that. We afterwards were told that (eventhough they could not grant a reason or cause) it may b crucial to amputate his toe. I am not so comfortable with the withdrawal of answers but the quick resolution. Our kinfolk has be using this specific vet for about 25years and hold never been organize astray. I have be doing alot of on-line research and am also unable to come to any type of conclusion. Please serve!!!
Answers: What are factors that explanation poor blood flow when giving blood?
My in-laws have a poodle that constantly get ingrown toenail. The individual toe swells up and turns red. It is very tender for the poodle, but it goes away on its own after a few days. Their vet have said that the only point that he can do is surgically remove the toenail (its the same one over and over again). I don't know if this is in the ballpark for you, but I don`t know it's a possibility?
Pierced ear has lump?
Sounds enormously strange.
I would get a second view from another vet's office.
Everybody make a mistake once in a while.
Have they done blood work to do away with the possibility of infection?
Or perhaps a spider bite or other insect, i.e. a poison exposure.
I would be surprised to hear that they enjoy not already done a blood work up but if they haven't they need to.
Being that the problem is isolated to the toe lead one to think any infection, but that would spread, or a vascular issue of some kind.
Also if you own a university in your nouns that offers veterinary schooling you might run the problem by them.
Being out of the biggest stream they might be more informed on unusual symptoms or conditions like this.
Good Luck.
