Why is it key to keep stiches dry surrounded by first 24hours?
hello my son was surrounded by batheroom and i heard a loud thump go up to see what happened, he be bleeding really bad from forhead, turned out he neeeded 10 stiches! ouch, any channel why do u have to maintain them dry in first 24 hours? casue when he come home from hospital we gave him a nippy bath to clear some of the blood of his frontage and body, and a few drops of water run down his face contained by process and now im worried inflict they got for a while wet.

because moisture is the superlative environment for bacteria and virus to grow on. moist wounds could easily bring back infected and that could be a lot of problem and a longer restorative. put betadine on it everyday.

I am not sure any. But I realise that my minor injuries are prefer to let them dry short any handyplast or plaster because they tend to heal faster than cover up next to a plaster. I only use ashen liquid to apply the injured nouns and left it dry to treat.e.g. bristle, I always burst the bristle and cut away the white skin and next apply yellow juice and left it to treat and indeed heal faster than using a plaster. :)
