I am now have tingling and numbness in my arms and hands? This is keeping me awake as I'm not competent to fall asleep. Then when I do jump down asleep the pain and or tingling and numbness awakens me. My hand are also swelling and getting very clumbsy. I run meds to help me sleep, but they are out of action.

My wife also have Diabetes and she thought she had neuropathy within her hands and arms but she go to the Doc and it turned out she actually have Carpal Tunnel, which can also send shooting pains up your arm and after she have surgery her hands and arms are freshly fine. Ask your doc to check for that and I hope it isn't any more serious for you. Good Luck
