ok so i am 13 yrs old and i get my carterlidge pierced back within August. And i begin to own a really bad cold and so consequently this bump started to develop on the back of my Carterlidge where on earth my piercing was at. so the bump be hurting and i decided to remove the ear ring(because of the pain).so i go to my doctor and asked if it was a keloid and he told me no and that this bump very well go away within time. but it has gone Down a bit, my query to you is do u know what this is? and does this mean i shouldn't go and get it pierced there again? also this is not that blemish or nothing.its a bump!

It is a bump of infection. It is not atypical to get this when you own your ears pierced. I had them on both ears. I lately kept swapping them with rubbing alcohol. They disappear after a short while.
