I have a massively sharp, piercing pain single on the right side of my throat. It is behind my tongue and tonsil, and down the side of my throat. I also own a slightly irritating pain within my right ear. It started earlier this evening beside just a minor irritation in my throat, I of late thought I was getting a cold, but I hold no other symptoms. I can hardly swallow, and it even hurts to inhale. It is not a middle-of-the-road sore throat! And my right tonsil is swollen.
Can anyone give me information on what this might be and what I can do besides garggling brackish water (done), taking advil (done), drinking hot hose (done).
