Misconceptions roughly speaking Oxycontin?

Please explain to me why you think Oxycontins are more addictive that Norcos or Vicodins. I anticipate this by saying that you can do the same effect by purely taking the equivalent mg to mg of vicodin and if you havnt abused the Vicodins in this passageway then why would you do this near Oxycontins. Why do people cogitate they are more addictive that other opiates.

Should I go put money on to bed, or should I just start my light of day early?

ninamcguinness, I can see why you're a pharmacy tech and not a pharmacist.

Oxycodone and hydrocodone (generic pet name for Vicodin) are both equally addictive. They also have thoroughly similar dosages by weight. If you're addicted to one, consequently you're addicted to the other, they are completely interchangeable for an addict.

The reason individuals have the misconception that OxyContin is so addictive is because Purdue Pharma manufacture OxyContin tablets with such incredibly soaring dosages with no acetaminophen in them. 10mg is the largest dose of hydrocodone in any one pill, and it comes along next to 750mg of acetaminophen. OxyContin used to have up to 160mg per pill, very soon up to 80mg. For someone crushing the pills and snorting/injecting/plugging them, OxyContin is much more attractive. You cannot possibly snort enough hydrocodone+acetaminophen to go and get really high or if you become tolerant. It burns really weakly and your nose get clogged up fast.

The drugs themselves, when taken within pure form, are basically impossible to tell apart thing pharmacologically. They're both semi-synthetic opiates next to nearly the same potency by substance, and nearly the same duration of effect, and both addictive contained by the same carriage.

vicodin norco?

Because they are more addcitive than other opiates. Oxyontin mimics the high one get from heroin, and it also has one and the same addictive nature. All it take is one dose and you are hooked.
Believe me, I am a Pharmacy Technician, and I see Oxycontin addicts adjectives the time. It isn't the same as Vicodin, and the street plus for Oxycontin is sky high...

With Vicodin and most other opiates, your body desires to build a tolerance before it starts to have need of more to function, but they found it isn't the case next to Oxycontin. There are also numerous cases of patients comitting suicide becuase they couldn't get bad the medication.
Dangerous, evil drug.

Hope this helps.

My friend is unnatural?

The reason Oxycontin is more chancy and addictive then Vics or Percs is because of the time release if this is broken you draw from 12hours worth of the drug at one time NOT because it mimics heroin that was a dumb answer especially for someone who works at a pharmacy. If you hold a 80mg oxycontin that equals about 16 percet, but once again if you break the time release this hits you adjectives at once. if you took 16 regular percocet you would not get as glorious as a oxycontin, just because the oxy is more potent and concentrated.
