Well i wouldnt advise this one bit.The metal plate is nearby for a reason probably holding your fracture together.If you experiencing problems shift and make an appt to see any your gp or your consultant.Metal plates are often removed by surgeons if patients are getting problems eg,pain,discomfort,infection.G... and see your Consultant please.Good Luck
