There are so many variables here:
Your problem, the surgery type (bone, bottle or muscle), your physical condition (how you heal, whether you hold osteoporosis, etc) and what you have to do within your job. If I would hazzard a guess it would be 4 months (MINIMUM) for a collectively taxing physical job.

Well I newly had a brain surgery in November I be out of work for 2 months because my job is fundamentally pysical and I could not lift anything heavier consequently a milk jug.
