My daughter burned the back of her leg on curling tongs(Dont ask) the skin on the burn have started to rub away leaving it incredibly sore. Should i put a dressing on it and if so waht type or leave it expand?

Back Problems??

My son was severly burned 6 years ago by water(another don't ask)they used a product call silvadine to help alleviate it...prescription only. plus they give another prescription called bactraban(a better form of triple antibiotics)to back ward away infection. i would say to alternate triple antibiotic wraps, beside times of letting it air out, at lowest possible once a day. if she starts to run a teperature she may inevitability antibiotics from doctor. as long as you are warding away infection, she should heal fine. added file: things like hydrogen peroxide just inflame and irritate burns...if you need to verbs it use a mild soap, such as Cedaphil, and water. consequently cover it in the triple antibiotic emulsion. i'll keep you and your daughter contained by my prayers.
