What cause piles?

Answers:

Do you think i am too engrossed with my bulk?

Pressure on the veins from any of several different reason such as straining to much during a bowel movement, sitting too much, child birth/ or pregnancy, holding back a bowel movement when you enjoy the urge or sometimes too frequent bowel movements. Piles is also known as hemorrhoids. If constipation is a problem and as a result, straining to much, which is a vastly common create of piles, then try raw fiber sources to relieve the problem...dried figs (any kind) or prunes work very capably, cost very little and are not toxic to the body.

What causes hemorrhoids?

It is not certain why hemorrhoids enlarge. There are several theories around the cause, including deficient intake of fiber, prolonged sitting on the toilet, and chronic straining to have a bowel movement (constipation). None of these theories have strong experimental support. Pregnancy is a clear cause of enlarged hemorrhoids though, again, the origin is not clear. Tumors in the pelvis also wreak enlargement of hemorrhoids by pressing on vein draining upwards from the anal canal.

One suggestion proposes that it is the shearing (pulling) force of stool, particularly knotty stool, passing through the anal strait that drags the hemorrhoidal cushions downward. Another theory suggests that next to age or an aggravating condition, the supporting tissue that is responsible for anchoring the hemorrhoids to the underlying muscle of the anal conduit deteriorates. With time, the hemorrhoidal tissue loses its mooring and slides down into the anal canal.

One physiological reality that is prearranged about enlarged hemorrhoids that may relate to understanding why they form is that the pressure is elevated within the anal sphincter, the muscle that surrounds the anal canal and the hemorrhoids. The anal sphincter is the muscle that allows us to control our bowel movements. It is not set, however, if this elevated pressure precedes the development of enlarged hemorrhoids or is the result of the hemorrhoids. Perhaps during bowel movements, increased force is required to force stool through the tighter sphincter. The increased shearing force applied to the hemorrhoids by the ratification stool may drag the hemorrhoids downward and enlarge them.
