Are my medical narrative public?
in other words, do i have access to them? if so..how surrounded by the H3LL do i get them? i have a surgery i need to attain info on way stern when i was a kid and i havent a clue how to get hold of it

Kris is right. There is no such thing as Public history. However what is incorrect is that normally they do not release your medical archives to you.
Go to your doctor and tell him when you have surgery and where. You should request that a copy of the paperwork be given to the Doctor. Some doctors will release them - some will not.
Doctors and Hospitals will normally hold records for around 7 years. Beyond that they hold them microfilmed and stored. Depending on how long ago the procedure took place is if you can retrieve your records.

All you 'enjoy to do' is tell your doctor that you want to see your medical chronicles ... and you do NOT have to own a 'doctor with you to interpret them' any. If you had a surgery when you be a child, then the 'hospital' where on earth you had that surgery is the place you want to go to 'find out' something like it ... and you may just be in motion to the 'information office' at the front desk and ask for directions to 'medical records' and explain 'what you want' and why you want it. Medical records are NOT 'public' but your medical records are ALWAYS open to you ...Should I get hold of a cortizone shot?
Contact the records dept. surrounded by the hospital you had the surgery within. They aren't public and you will probably have to sign something to carry them. I ask for copies of the doctors/surgeons etc. notes respectively time I see someone. So I have access to current status adjectives the time.
