Depends on what helpful of pain. Syndol is massively good for headache, tho can make you perceive a little sleepy as it have a muscle relaxant in it. Also, panadol is drastically good.alcahols relatively good

I wouldn't go near asprin. I always use Co-Codemol, (Codeine). Or paracetamol at a pinch.Asprin thins the blood, and can affect your stomach if you own stomach problems.

depends what it is for.Ibuprofen and aspirin are anti-inflammatories, they are best for mutual pains, toothache and other pains that may be caused by inflammation. They should be avoided by culture with stomach problems and asthmatics.
Paracetamol now and then has any side effects and is a honourable all round twinge killer.
Codeine is stronger than paracetamol and should not be taken frequently minus the advice of a GP as it can effect constipation and is highly addictive.
Personally speaking i use to catch bad migraine's in history and whenever i felt one coming on i would help yourself to a paracetamol. It is very difficult to achieve over the counter tablets now next to codeine in them.

Syndol is very worthy for headaches it contains a anti histamine to relax aswel as the pain reliever. Stick with Paracetamol base ones i think they are safer. The Co-Codamol is moral its a full dose of Paracetamol and 8mg codeine per tab. It depends what you want the painkiller for. Personally, i use ibuprofen and paracetamol (not at like peas in a pod time!). Ibuprofen is for muscle pains, stomach cramps, and headaches, whereas paracetamol is used as a stronger alternative for headache and for fluey symptoms, such as a fever. For all kind of pains I take Ibuprofen. And for migraines or headache I take Excedrin Migraine. That works great!try syndol it have paracetamol and codeine but also an antihistamine in it to help relax your muscles, works a treat for me.
