no its not used instead of an MRI , ITS ACTUALLY ABOUT A 2 FOOT LONG FLEXIBLE NEEDLE ,that they use to inject a dye into the nouns , so the can view it better during the MRI , and it hurts really discouraging , but its worht having it done within the long run .
