Gym Class Injury, Should I dance home or stay?

We were playing football inside in gym class. I fell and land on my ankle and foot. I feel fine except for the one chunk of my foot feels tender if I try and stand on it. The nurse put my on these dated crutches that keep falling apart on me (arrggg) anyway. She said if the stomach-ache gets any worse I should turn home. I really don't want to.. what should I do?

Based on what you own said here, it sounds as though you have inadequately sprained your foot or ankle. Bad sprains are nothing to steal lightly... the quicker you carry it treated, the better off you will be. The second place you need to be right very soon is at school, when you can't even stand to put immensity on a foot that you just injured. Here is what you do... find the school custodian to bring you a roll of duct video. Duct tape the hell out of doesn`t matter what is causing the crutches to drop apart, and then use them to attain headed through the doors of the college, and to the house!! KEEP ALL WEIGHT OFF OF THAT FOOT!!!

if you are on crutches, the best thing is to rest. dispense your injury time to heal, it will make well faster if you rest it. one thing that could come about is that the injury might get worse if u stress it. i know it sucks, but rest is best.. i mull over

I am really scared. I'm not sure what to do really.?

Go home. You should own your foot elevated and on ice.

Your foot have quite a great deal of bone so an xray wouldn't hurt if you find it gets worse and starts to swell.

It will stiffen up too and seem to be more painful by tomorrow but it's most momentous that you stay off it TODAY and rime it and keep it up so it doesn't swell. Immediate bustle is the most important and rest it a few days at lowest, tomorrow start rotating ice and warmness.

How to acquire health insurance for senior age parents who enjoy greencard status?

The first thing that the nurse should hold done was to confer you an ice pack and have you elevate your foot and ice it down for at least possible 20 minutes. This should be repeated several times today. It sounds like you may own sprained some ligaments in your foot or possible strained a muscle in the foot itself. Either way you should follow the RICE principal. Rest, Ice,Compression, Elevation. If the aching does not subside in 2 to 3 days consult your physician and get an appointment with a Physical Therapist. Hope this help.

leg fractures in four places?

I would step home only because you entail to be icing the ankle and it may be alittle difficult to do at school. If the crutches are broken, this is not doing any good to your ankle any. Thats what I would do, but its hard to speak because you are the one feeling the spasm. I would get it checked by a doctor whether its right immediately or after school. If its sprained, he may suggest wrapping it for support.

You should go home IMMEDIATELY and communicate your parents that you NEED to see a doctor ... you don't know what, if any, injury you have within your foot, and if it is a small bone that is broken, it may inevitability to be 'set' or the 'broken ends' could 'tear up' your foot on the inside and inflict much 'worse damage' and also be much harder to heal. If it is lately a 'bruise' then you may simply obligation to treat it with rime and 'elevation therapy' (resting with your foot above your heart) ... but ONLY A DOCTOR can relate you for sure. Since the nurse gave you 'crutches' I contemplate that your 'injury' is 'bad enough' for you to 'turn home' and to 'see the doctor.'
