I won a free squeeze, will it be worth it to go through their "consultation" first and later set up an appt?

They said they have to check to see if I'm physically fit to own a massage. I enjoy to go to a consultation up to that time I can even set up the appointment. First off, is that legit, or will the consultation in recent times be a sales pitch? Secondly, will it be worth it? I believe it's just a put money on massage, not full-body.

Answers:

Have you ever pulled the muscle between your rib shut within and your lungs?

The consultaion is just question about your vigour,, such as asthma, diabetis etc. Most massage therapist do that, I had to do that every time I have to go to a tentative massage therapist throughout the years. I would go for it since it is free! Personally, not just I would have my rear done, but also would have my legs, and foot done. ;-)

What kind of doctor do I stipulation for this?

It's a sales pitch. Just how "physically fit" do you call for to be to have a polish? People who are very sick win them and withstand them well, so "physically fit" is only a come-on.

It depends on what you want to get out of it. If you don't mind individual pressured to buy something, if you don't mind sitting through a presentation that you know you are not going to enjoy or exactness about (in other words, surplus your time), if you don't mind getting a free massage--remember, you get what you pay for, and if the consultation is first, consequently they'll know not to spend much effort on you because they're not going to seize anything out of you--that can't do you any good except perchance relax you a little (which you might have need of, since you will just own been asked to grant them money), then, sure, progress ahead.

If you don' t, you won't have missed anything.

OmG girls or sum1 please sustain!!?

How long is the consultation? Any intake for massage shouldn't ending more than 5 - 10 minutes. You don't need to be physically fit, but within are some contraindications involved and if you have one or more of them, afterwards you can't get the work (such as blood clots, sometimes cancer, etc).

It does sound resembling a sales pitch though....

What do you know just about a brain injury?

I would be wary of anything free, especially squeeze work that requires a pre-screening. All massage consultant will check in near you at the beginning in the region of your health history and customize their work to settlement your personal health.

Has anyone experienced rotator cuff affliction relief by taking omega-3?

It sounds close to a questionable business practice. I am a massage psychiatric therapist, licensed in the state of Illinois. You hold to be physically healthy but to be exact a VERY general statement and seriously of conditions still do not contraindicate massage analysis.

Usually ten minutes at most to answer some important question is a sufficient screening but having to stir to a consultation/ health screening prior to setting an appointment sounds shady.

First, check out the business near the local licensing agency. Find out exactly what generous of business it is and what other services they offer. Check next to the better business bureau.

I have owned my own practice for several years and I hold seen masses unethical race trying to take peoples money underneath the guise of proffesional services.

If you "won a free massage" there should be no strings attatched. It is usually wrong to do so. Usually the free sessions are just short, relaxation massage that focus on the neck, pay for or hands and foot.

If you want affordable yet qualified chafe therapy, check into a local press school. The students usually hold to perform several hours of mould and the rate is a lot smaller quantity than a professional would charge. Plus, you help a student gain expensive learning and experience.
