no, you cannot get graphite poisoning, it is non-hazardous. You can get organize poisoning, that's why all the pencil companies switched to graphite. I know of relatives who do have graphite within their skin where its be imbedded, but it does no harm, it may a moment ago look like a touch gray dot. usually the body will push it out eventually, but sometimes they're stuck there, but they are non-hazardous.how to prevent recurring sore throats?

No you cannot.About a year ago, I fell off my friend's bed and (coincidently) land on a very sharp pencil. The organize broke off and it get stuck inside my skin.
So far, nothing have happened to me :) It basically looks like a unusual gray-blue dot.
It's happened to my mom and my dad years previously and they're both fine and well.
Like previously stated, you can carry lead poisoning but not graphite poisoning.
Companies have an issue with the organize in pencils poisoning folks who accidentally pricked themselves. So all the companies switched to graphite, a much safer, much smarter choice on (both) parts.
