Are you diabetic? If you have not be checked for this recently, you should. With untreated uncontroled diabetes you can end in nerve wreckage anywhere in your body, but your foot are the 1st thing entry to worry in the order of. When I was diagnosed I also have been have problems in one of my foot.
Leg Problem....Advice needed please.?
You could have any number of issues. However, since it is confined to the top of your foot, in attendance is probably little need for concern. Things that can lead to this sensation are...a pinched nerve (have you changed shoes, are they too tight, etc.)
Diabetes can produce a loss of feeling surrounded by your extemities
Lyme disease (that is a serious answer)
Shingles (but this is usually accompanied by pain)
MS
ALS (Lou gehrig's disease)
Are you starting to bring the picture? If you are seriously concerned, go see a doctor and hold some tests run. I own a similar, ongoing problem and after 18 months of tests be finally diagnosed with Lyme Disease. (my numbness is more ubiquitous and there is torment as well)
So be prepared, there may be a exceedingly simple answer, but there may be a long road to amount it out as well.
