If the blisters are bigger then a dime, shift to the ER. Otherwise, keep applying cold compresses on them. Take ibuprofen or Tylenol for the agony every 4-6 hrs and the pain will subside. If you hold any signs of infection, like pus, or increased glow or warmth at the site, move about to the doctor.
