Mine have gotten irritated too. My Nurse Practitioner said not to use polysporin or such things because it irritates it even more (I usually use polysporin on everything)

When I first got mine peirced, I have the same problem. It turns out I be allergic to whatever gentle of metal they pierced it with, so I completed up buying my own ring from the mall. To catch the infection out, first I went spinal column to the piercing place where they drained it. ALOT of puss come out. Then I filled a small cup near warm hose (as hot as your skin can handle) mixed with Epsom Salt (you can gain this at a drug store) And placed it over your navel. It should suck on like a suctionc up, but lay on your put money on...watch TV or doesn`t matter what...and let it soak for a well-mannered 15 minutes. WHen you get up, and pocket the cup of water bad your belly, you'll see all the crap floating in the marine, and it should feel better within a week or two. You have to soak it similar to, 2 or 3 times a day, as commonly as you like. Hope that help!
