Insects typically reproduce in the warmer summer months. So I'd hold to tell you that you are wrong. Although it does issue where you live massively few insects thrive in the winter.
where I live, a lot of bugs spend time outside contained by the warm weather, after get into little cracks in the walls and brand name they're way inside. I don't see them much until it get pretty cold and they move away fro the walls into the room- especially stink bugs and black & red beetles.
You see more bugs contained by the winter time because its cold outside so they make thier process in to houses to hold on to warm. So it a moment ago seems resembling we get them more contained by the winter. In the spring and summer time the bugs dont want to be in an A/C house they would rather be outside where on earth its warm...grasp it now :)
they similar to the warmth of a house as much as you do. only just think in the region of it.J
