Well, I didn't successfully complete the fall, but I happen to catch myself on the close by railing (thank gawd). This happened closing week (it is cold and has be raining off and on here).
I be wearing a pair of Nike Shox TL IV's. I really don't dream up shoes have anything to do beside it, though. I have be just as surefooted on rime with Birks as I enjoy with hiking shoes, it's going on for placement, and how slick the ice is.

when i moved to NC from FLA,i didn't know that it was rime on the sidewalk,it just looked showery,i busted my a.. it was funny very soon that I've lived here a few years i know what to look for,and i have better shoes for winter, snow is lovely!I was rime skating @ Rockefeller center - i had rime skates on, but what made me "finally" fall, be my nephew - hanging on SO strong - took at least a minute for him to finally verbs me down!

I really don't remember. Few years ago... possibly. I guess walking on ice minus loosing grip don't depend so much on kind of sole of shoes you are wearing, but to some extent on the way you go together. Its like difference between sports car with ABS system and one minus. Well, you can try shoes with metal spines similar to for mountain climbing for perfect grip :) (rather crazy thought, I think...).In Jan 2001, I stepped past its sell-by date my stairs took 2 steps and my feet slid backwards, I go down face first(my courtyard sloped upward away from the house). I didn't have time to corner myself with my hand. I was holding on to my purse. I bruised my shoulder and collar bone! Ouch that hurt! We have had roughly 3 inches of ice!
