Spinal Tap/ Lumbar Puncture back strain?
Answers:
I had a spinal stroke and two epidurals, and had some stomach-ache in my spine afterward. If I walk and took longer strides than usual, I'd feel a shock of electricity up my subsidise. It will go away contained by time. If you start to have neurological difficulty (weakness, numbness) see your doctor. But I expect you're experiencing something quite conventional.
What does this mean if I slept for 17hrs?
I certainly had this problem (& i never have a spinal tap)-I'm not sure if it is completely normal (probably since you have a procedure), but I found it was that since i enjoy slight scoliousis my muscles were extremely tight. <<this might be your problem.
-I started doing pilates and yoga to increase by muscles flexibility
-Get frequent massage to work out knots contained by your back muscles
-if the distress continues I would see a doctor (it WORKED 100% for me)
Good luck
It sounds close to you should really contact your doctor. Everyone responds differently to medical procedures. You could be experiencing some serious side effects that should be treated by a physician. I have never have a spinal tap but my friend have undergone many of them when man treated for leukemia as a teenager. I don't ever remember her experiencing anything similar to what you have described.
I hope that you can resolve this problem. It sounds incredibly scary within addition to cause you physical distress. Go back to your Doc. Good luck.
