Which is worse: Being Fat or Smoking?


I stopped smoking two weeks ago, but I have gain 7 pounds. Right now I am 5'2" and weigh 189. This puts my BMI at 34.6 (Obese) I am merely 30 pounds away from being morbidly obese. I save debating this with myself, which is really worse? Smoking unsophisticatedly causes cancer and possibly an elevated blood pressure. But being overweight produce Diabetes, high blood pressure, giant cholesterol and I am sure a few more thing consequently just smoking does. So, which do you muse it worse? Why?

you are not going to like this ,I quit smoking in Oct 06 ,so i hold about 16 months contained by .I don't think of cigs any more .I have lost about 60 lbs ,feel really good ,so I arranged to quit smoking ,I could cry ,all the substance is backby the side of,the moment I quit smoking ,I stopped working out .So try to replace smoking with something positive ,not food .This is my first week ,intake right and working out ,so here goes,to the both of us,for trying ,please save up the good work ,The first month be the hardest ,and you'll there.I will say aloud I breath a lot better ,hold much more wind,so working out should catch easier ,oh and the key drink lots of sea ,my friend quit the same time ,she drink hose down ,and didn't gain any weight .Its the smoking monster ,doing the debating ,you already quit smoking ,you can do this ,drink your wet .

It's a good start that you've quit smoking. For your immensity problem, start modifying your lifestyle (diet, exercise, etc...)

Although self overweight increases your risk of heart attacks and other various diseases, smoking will abstractly kill you quicker, so it is the "worse" of the two, and it is addicting.

Smoking is worse. There is no cure for cancer, but if you re obese, you can work on becoming improved. In smoking, the lungs become black (in some cases), and you can't fix the damage done. I'm not so sure nearly the cure of diabetes, but i do know that you can work on high blood pressure, soaring cholesterol, and other things( im not saying that you markedly but in general).

Smoking is probably the worst thing, but that's why like mad of people don't quit, because of the almost inevitable consignment gain. depends on what loving of person you are.even though both explanation serious health issues; to me, i construe being solid is worse. it is pretty acceptable for ethnic group to smoke so its common. its also adjectives to be obese as well. but self obese, is less above-board because of looks. in my opinon, american society law lords based on looks, so human being fat does impact the path people referee you. dont get me wrong, ethnic group do judge ethnic group who smoke, but hey if celebrates smoke, why cant we? society is also artificial through the media. what they dont see is grease people. so everyone desires to be skinny. it is worse to be fat. purely my thought.

i would saying man obease is bad because it boundaries you to so much walking running and things of that sort but smoking will just assassinate you and it makes u smell similar to smoke, but if i was u i would slowing take the edge off off of cigarettes and not quit cold turkey GGOD LUCK
