Does anybody work in a wound care center?

I have a wound from a sebaceous cyst removal on my chest. I have it removed three months ago. The wound will heal next about a week after that it forms a ball of pus lower than the wound and will ooze out. I have be back to the surgeon but he keep saying that it is probably lately infected. I have have it cauterized, had dissovable stitches taken out and own been on antibiotics but it still will turn back and forth near the wound being heal then gap back up. I made an appointment at a wound comfort center, but they can not see me for another two weeks. I was purely wondering if somebody worked in a wound care center what do they feel could be the problem or what would the doctor probably do when I go to see them. I basically need some info to stillness my nerves until my appointment in two weeks. Thanks.

I hope that your wound will be cultured (some drainage sent to the lab) to see if you may enjoy a MRSA (methicillin resistant staph aureus) infection. If it is MRSA, you will need convinced antibiotics. It's a bacteria that have become resistant to many antibiotics. You may yearning to schedule an appointment next to your family physician (hopefully he/she could see you sooner than 2 weeks) to discuss culturing the wound.
