not a big gash but there be a litle blood...i dont think i own a concussion but i do have a pretty big lump...are in attendance any signs of a bad injury? or only a lump?

Are you pupils dialating properly? (If they are really big you may enjoy a problem). With head injuries you really want to be cautious, obviously. If you're dialating properly and you don't own any dizziness or other unusual issues with your brain functions you are fine.
