U poor point :( Cructhes suck and yes they do hurt your armpits. Best advice is to elevate your artificial leg when you can. Preferably above the line of your waist. Pillows on a stool or whatever you can do.Regular paracetamol for spasm (6hrly if need be is most effective)
And, ask your pharmacist if it is undisruptive to have an anti inflammatory, it depends on your medical history and the close to IE? asthmatic, heart problems or clotting problems. oh... when u get crutches, you should be capable of put two fingers between ur armpits and the rubber on the top of the crutch!! I have MANY broken bones from gymnastics!! I enjoy to go to surgery on Wed. for a point in my knees. See my ?'s for more details
